Q: I´m growing tomato´s in a closed greenhouse, and I want to start using CO2 enrichment. What is an optimal concentration to maintain? My plants are fully grown and I use 250mmol of artifical light.

A: Hello grower, great question. This depends on the light conditions: During the night it is okay to have 400 ppm of CO2 in your greenhouse but in the night your plants will actually produce CO2. During the artificial they you will want a concetration of 500-600 ppm in the air but wait until you see your plants start to use it. You see this because the concetration of CO2 in your greenhouse ist starting ti drop. During the day and you have sunlight available (600W for example) concentrations of 800 are optimal because your plants need to make a lot of assimilates. Don't go above 1000 ppm : it will start to be a stressor for the plants. Does that answer your question?
